I have tiny teeth, and the compact size works best for me, as opposed to the regular sized brush heads (which you also carry). I have had my Sonicare for many, many years. It is still going strong. There is a thing called Planned Obsolescence. Most tech companies (and companies in general) make products that will wear out so you will have to keep buying more. Think cars, smart phones, washers, refrigerators, etc. I replace my toothbrush head every month because of usage. This is expected and something I have no problem with. It is like anything that needs replacing with constant use. But. If I had to often replace my toothbrush handle (the electric part), I would not be happy. I actually had to replace it once, about 15 years ago. Planned Obsolescence. Things used to be made to outlast many generations. I digress.
